The Dark Rider [July 14th 2000 to ???] - An unexpected start to a recently begun short story called "The Book Of Shadows".

The Dragon's Tower [Fall 1997 to ???] - NOTICE: I apologize to anyone who was following this story, but I've had to remove it as I am going to pursue an effort to to get it published. If by some stroke of luck the story does manage to get published I will be sure to post the details here. Stay tuned...

The Dark Traveller [Fall 1997 to ???] - Is there life after death? Where do we go? short stories, poetry & lyrics

The Message [July 7th 2001] - Sometimes what you hear is not important. But if you listen very carefully, maybe you can hear something else that is...

The Long & Lonely Night [Jan 13th 2003] - Something is different about the main character of this very short story. But if you ever saw him you'd be lucky (or unlucky some might say) if he stuck around long enough to ask him.

Silent World [June 19th 2002] - There are a lot of things that people don't talk about with each other. Some things are best left unsaid. But there are many things we could talk about with each other, but we don't. I wonder why...

Paper Plates [Dec 28th 2001] - In a micro-universe that we take for granted, where a glass of water can be a galaxy, an epic struggle to survive goes on everyday. "Let's get small..."

The Voice Of Reason [Sept 15th 2001] - While the tragic events of Sept 11 2001 will change the world forever, many of us struggle to understand the changes. Hopefully our own voice of reason will guide us in the months and even years ahead, as the news media continues to churn out images in an uninterrupted looping stream via faceless correspondents with nothing to say. But there once was another voice of reason we could trust beside our own. Where is it now?

The Spell [July 18th 2001] - Each generation gets faster then the last. But we used to run with our heads up. A tribute to long-lost idea of "The Big Picture"...

Like Swimming In A Lake [June 4th 2001] - Most of us wish our lives were different somehow. Some of us wish we had taken a different path. And some of us wish we had the opportunity of taking a different path. So why didn't we? We might be doing something else right now...

Breaking The Law of Gravity [March 16th 2001] - Everyone knows someone like this. Headed down a dark path that only we seem to see, and unwilling to listen to anybody. A lot of time and creative energy is wasted, as they thrash about in their attempt to control everything and everyone around them, in vain...

Forever [Feb 17th 2001] - There are words in the english language that are very dangerous to use when we're young, because we may not know how powerful they are and the effect they may have on someone when we say them...

The Ceiling [Dec 12th 2000] - This one doesn't need explaining. I'm betting you've had the "feeling" yourself at least once...

Disconnected [Dec 1st 2000] - Don't you hate being interrupted? Especially by something that isn't really important... to anybody?

Rust [Nov 3rd 2000] - Every once in a while we need to scrape away the corrosion of time...

Smoke [Sept 24th 2000] - And just one mirror...

Thunder [Sept 21st 2000] - Decisions, decisions...

My Warrior's Heart [Sept 10th 2000] - The struggle between living in the fantasy and everyday worlds. You may win the battles but never the war...

Each Drop That Falls [April 20th 2000] - A look into the life of clouds as they circle the earth to be reborn from the sea, over and over again.

A Different Light [Feb 14th 2000] - I am fascinated by the varying degrees of light and the effect light can have on our emotional state. Inspired by an autumn walk to the local corner store, this poem is what I saw that day... and didn't see.

Datacrime [Aug 1997] - lyrics from self-titled demo CD "Tower". .

Dark Traveller - Part 1 [Aug 1997] - lyrics from self-titled demo CD "Tower".

Waking Dream [Aug 1997] - lyrics from self-titled demo CD "Tower".

bubblegum crisis fanfics

What is Bubblegum Crisis?

Bubblegum Cross [Oct 1995 - ???] - It is the year 2038. The Knight Sabers have existed peacefully in obscurity, ever since the AD Police finally shut down Genom, the boomer manufacturer who also dealt globally in corruption and greed. Their 5 year hiatus is about to be disturbed, as a long-lost relative drops into Sylia Stingray's life, and explains why her data cartridge has the number "2" on it.

Into The Shadows [Nov 1997 to Feb 1998] - A BubbleGum Crisis fanfiction about the early formative days of the Knight Sabers. Co-written by Jeanne Hedge and myself - Courtesy of Jeanne's "Short Story Page" website

Other stories by Jeanne Hedge.

In Your Dreams [Written Apr 4th 2003] - A fanboy's fantasy come true? Or just a dream? How do we know when we are really dreaming? Or should we care if the dream is a particularly good one? Then again, maybe it's all just smoke and mirrors...

Someone To Think About [Oct 26th 2000] - Simple pleasures, a passion that isn't, and other random thoughts. A brief look into what Priss might think about, from her perspective, as she tries to drive home one night.

Fatal Exception [June 8th 2000] - This short fanfic (if we can call it that) came about as result of an email discussion with SkyKnight (Bert Van Vliet) about BIOS flashes for motherboards, and then we thought about flashing the BIOS on a hardsuit and well, this was my reply...

Waking Up [Aug 29th 1999] - I've never been able to accept the theory that Sylia Stingray might be a boomer. But what if she was and she had no idea? And what if she started to malfunction? This story was inspired by watching Blade Runner one night; I started to compare Rachel the replicant to Sylia. Then I started thinking about memories as the basis for the mysterious OMS (OverMind System) that was supposed to control the boomer population. As Sylia's memories start to do strange things, she begins to "wake up".

Never Know [Sept 6th 1998] - I'd forgotten about this one until I recently checked the BGC Fanfic Guide (thanks Craig!). I initially wrote this simply as an exercise to work on provoking an emotional response in a reader. I can't remember if I thought I'd succeeded or not, but after hauling it out of the depths of my hard drive and dusting it off, I found it provoked a response in me. See if you feel the same way.

Bye Bye My Crisis [Aug 22nd 1998] - The Changing of the guard. Dedicated to fans of the old series, and to the future...

Someday [May 6th 1998] - A challenge was posted to the Fanfic Mailing List to write a story about two characters from a popular anime series falling out of love. Priss and Leon think about falling in love... someday.

misc bgc fanfics

by myself and others

Tin Man - An SKJAM Revenge Fic [Oct 30th 2001] - While doing a little cleaning up on my hard drive I found this short odd story. It was originally part of something called "The SKJAM Revenge Fic", which was a collection of short fanfics by at least 2 dozen authors from the old Fanfic Mailing List. The object was to write a story where the main characters from an anime series of the author's choosing get "revenge" on the author for all the trials and tribulations they were put through by the author in his or her fanfic stories. Many of the revenge fics were very funny, but for some reason I chose a darker route...

The BGC ML RPG Fic! [July 2nd 2001] - Will the insanity ever stop? An RPG/round-robin fanfic, contributed to by the various members of the BGC ML late one evening. A rambling drama, written in the tradition of the lesser known Shakesperian plays. I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream...

The KS Are Kangaroos Part 1 [Jan 16th 2001] - This was originally posted to the alt.fan.bgcrisis newsgroup to be humorous, but I was trying to make a semi-serious point about how silly it was for some people to think the members of the Knight Sabers might be lesbians. Was I successful in persuading anyone to change their minds? Are you kidding?

The KS Are Kangaroos Part 2 [May 2001] - More insanity, and it makes even less sense than Part 1! Is this possible?
